Chrisandra Polacek is a multidisciplinary artist whose path to tattooing has been shaped by years of hands‑on craftsmanship, design work, and fine‑art study. Her creative journey began in 2015, apprenticing in a ceramics studio where she quickly grew from student to owner/operator. During her time running the studio from late 2015 to 2018, she worked with industry‑grade equipment to create and restore cement, porcelain, and ceramic pieces—an experience that sharpened her eye for detail, precision, and material understanding.
From 2016 to 2019, she expanded her skill set into the world of graphic design, creating corporate merchandise and apparel. This period strengthened her sense of branding and visual storytelling—skills that would later become foundational to her tattoo work.
In 2019, Chrisandra shifted her focus fully to tattooing, beginning a dedicated apprenticeship before opening her own studio in 2022. Since then, she has continued to grow her craft not only through her home studio in Ohio but also by traveling to tattoo conventions and guest spots at studios across the country. These experiences have connected her with diverse artists and clients, broadening her stylistic range and deepening her commitment to the tattoo community.
Beyond tattooing, Chrisandra has taken on a wide variety of art commissions over the years, from sketches to large‑scale commercial and residential murals. She has also spent the last several years studying under Alexandra Manukyan to continue learning classical sketching and oil painting techniques to improve her art foundation, and develop artistic style. Driven by a passion for blending fine‑art traditions with modern tattooing. Her work reflects a balance of technical discipline and expressive artistry, rooted in a lifelong dedication to creating meaningful, enduring art.
